Recently I reached out to Coach Squires to ask him about his life and get some advice about moving on from coaching. We met for Coffee and spent a few hours catching up, talking about coaching and life. I played at CLU 20+ years ago and can still call a former coach and talk. He took time out of his day to visit and mentor and former player. It was an amazing conversation that helped me tremendously. Coach Squires embodies what it means to be a Kingsmen and how the bonds that are formed in athletics live for ever. I appreciate him as a coach, mentor and as a man. I am honored to have called him coach.
