Hi! My name is Claire Cornejo, I am a former golfer and recent graduate of Cal Lutheran University, currently pursuing my MBA. Playing golf in college was always a dream of mine since I was very young. I was fortunate enough to end up at Cal Lutheran where my sister had started her collegiate golf career just a year earlier. Going to college was a huge transition but was made so much easier because of the amazing coaches and teammates that I met at Cal Lu. The Cal Lutheran Women’s and Men’s golf programs are so fortunate to have the best coaches in the SCIAC supporting them at every turn. During my collegiate golf career I was named All-SCIAC, MVP, inducted into the Scholar Athlete Society and broke over 25 program records. Playing golf at Cal Lu shaped me into the person that I am and introduced me to people that I know will be in my life forever. I am truly grateful to have been a Regal and urge you to support both men’s and women’s golf programs so many more golfers are able to experience being an athlete at Cal Lutheran.
