About
I was born in the Philippines and migrated to the United States in the mid-1970's. My husband, Brian Fitzpatrick and I moved to California from New Jersey. We raised our three daughters in Thousand Oaks. They've since moved on to other cities. We love being grandparents to 4-year-old Ilona and a 2-year-old Tijs who live with our oldest daughter and her husband in Northern California. My other two daughters live in the East Coast.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Maryknoll College (now Miriam College) in the Philippines
- Masters Degree in Special Education from California Lutheran University
- Education Specialist credential form California Lutheran University
Expertise
I've worked as a Special Education teacher in Conejo Valley Unified School District for close to twenty years. I retired in 2018 but I've continued working part-time in education.
