High School teacher in Las Virgenes USD for 38 years.
During those years I was involved in various aspects of public school experience. In addition to teaching at both Agoura and Calabasas High Schools, I also served as Department Chair, Activities Director, Athletic Director and LV Teachers Association Vice President.
I have a Standard Single Subject Credential in History, English Language Arts, and Journalism
I also coached Soccer and Tennis from 1973 to 2005.
Following my retirement I began to work at California Lutheran University.
In my ten years at CLU in the GSE I have supervised Single Subject candidates, taught a variety of courses and acted as Lead TPA Assessor for both CalTPA and edTPA.
Beginning in January 2021 I began to work for the Ventura County Office of Education as a "Professional Development Provider. Specifically I am working in the Induction program with beginning teachers who have not passed the edTPA.
