Free afternoon and evening for those not signed up for the Excursion. Lunch available on campus, with tickets for purchase, The area has a variety of restaurants for lunch and dinner. For an excursion on your own, there are many options. [E.g. Ventura has beautiful beaches. The old Ventura has a nice walking area with shops and restaurants and with the historic Bonaventura Mission, plus a walking distance to the beach.]

Excursion to Santa Barbara, with a box lunch and refreshments, return in the evening. What to expect: a beautiful ride by the coast with a visit to the Old Mission and the historic Court House (with magnificent views from both places), free time in the scenic downtown with many options for eating and wine tasting on the State street, in the Funkzone, or at the Wharf, and returning home around sunset.  (More information TBA.)
