About

Mark Spraggins is active as a composer of music for the stage, studio and screen. His concert music has been performed widely and includes works for orchestra, choir, wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, string quartet, piano, mixed ensembles and electronics. His music has been performed internationally in Norway, Sweden, Italy, France, Austria and the Czech Republic.
 
A native of Virginia, Mark completed his composition studies in 2004 at the Flora Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California (Los Angeles). He is currently a senior faculty member in the Music Department at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks California.
