- University Chapel, Thurs., June 10. Join us in Samuelson Chapel as we once again gather in person for worship! For those unable to be physically present, University Chapel will be available at www.callutheran.edu/live .
- The Office of Sponsored Research and Projects is holding a Grant Writing Lab on Mon., Aug. 23 (for non-research proposals) and Tues., Aug. 24 (for research proposals) from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The workshop will focus on dissecting the RFP, learning the funder’s perspective, using your “reviewer” skills to critique the work of your colleagues, and receiving feedback from OSRP and your peers. - Travel to Conferences will continue to be limited next year, due to budgetary constraints. Pre-tenured faculty will be funded to attend a conference if they are presenting. Other conference travel will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. An approval process will be communicated shortly.
- Spanish for University Professionals (Free!) Virtual Summer Sessions offering Introductory Spanish 101 and Intermediate Spanish 102. Session 1: June 7-24, Session 2: July 7-22. Click here for more information and to register.
- Faculty Writing Groups Are you looking for a community to write with this summer? Need accountability or encouragement to keep you on track? Want feedback or revision suggestions from friendly peers? Need help recalibrating scholarship after this challenging year? Join one of our writing groups! The in-person “write together” group meets on campus Mondays at 11:00am. Or join us on zoom Tuesdays at 9:30am for a writing accountability group. - Full-time Faculty - Please complete your Faculty Annual Report as soon as possible, so that we may include this information in the "At the Leading Edge" Faculty Accomplishments publication. The online form can be found on the Academic Affairs Website under Faculty Resources or click here. Note: An additional section on the pandemic has been added, with the questions "Please share any comments about the impact of the pandemic on your work. Are there changes that you made that you want to continue? Are there resources you need to do this?" Upon successful submission of your report, you will receive an immediate email copy.
- The Academic Affairs Policies and Practices for Spring 2021 will remain in effect through the summer. Pre-Covid policies will go back into effect in the fall.
