10:30 – 11:30 am
SEEd Project Garden/Fry Family Outdoor Classroom

Begin your day immersed in nature, tea, and community.

Start your morning in one of the most unique spaces on campus – the SEEd (Sustainable Edible Education) Garden. If you’re joining the hike to the CLU rocks, you’ll end your walk here with tea made from fresh garden herbs.

What You Need to Know:

  • Start Time: Drop in starting at 10:30 AM. If you’re joining the CLU rocks hike, your walk will end here.
  • Getting There: You’ll need to walk a very short part of the Woken Walk—the path between the baseball and softball fields—to reach this hidden gem.
  • Refreshments: Garden-grown tea and baked goods will be waiting to welcome you.
  • Program: At 10:45 AM, student garden managers will share how they care for this unique space—home to a thriving pollinator garden, native micro forest, composting hub, fruit trees, and hands-on learning areas for CLU classes and community workshops.
  • Explore: You’re invited to stroll the garden at your own pace after the program.
