Homecoming Golf Tournament
Friday, Oct. 16
12:00 – 5:00 pm
Los Robles Golf Course
Tee off with friends at this annual alumni tradition.
We are always excited when it’s time to start preparations for our annual Homecoming Golf gathering, a tradition that reaches back four decades to the inaugural event planned by Eric Jensen after his graduation in 1984.
The Sherwood Lake Club is currently being renovated and cannot host this year’s event, this year the tournament will move to Los Robles Golf Course. This change in venue brings with it a few changes in our usual procedures.
These changes include:
-
Formalized registration will be handled by the Alumni Office, and payment will be required when you register. We have room for 64 golfers, or 16 foursomes. Registration is first come, first served, and you will receive confirmation when we can confirm that we have space for your group. Registration closes on October 5th.
-
Los Robles cannot accommodate a shotgun start for us on that date, so our first group will tee off at Noon and our last group at 2:30. An earlier tee time will give you more time to socialize after golf and before dinner, a later time will give you more flexibility earlier in the day or social time before the round. You will be asked whether you would prefer an earlier or later tee time when you register. Regardless of your tee time, we will need everyone to maintain a brisk pace of play and keep up with the group in front of them.
Here are the details for this year’s event:
When: October 16th, pre-golf fellowship starting at 11:30, First tee time at 12:00, and our usual post-golf dinner which will be available starting at 6:30, after the round
Where: Los Robles Golf Course in Thousand Oaks
Cost: $120 per person ($480 per foursome) Payable when you register.
Your registration fee includes your round of golf, a Mexican buffet dinner, and three drink tickets.. Please be sure to register as soon as you can, as we are limited to the first 64 golfers to register, and would hate for anyone to miss out on the fun and fellowship that are hallmarks of this event.
We look forward to seeing you on October 16th!
