  • Academic Difficulty Notices for Traditional Undergraduates: The official reporting period for Academic Difficulty Notices (ADNs) ends this Fri., Feb. 23. Please submit unsatisfactory grades for your students who are earning a C- or below through WebAdvisor by Feb. 23. Only one submission per student in a particular class is requested during this time frame.   • Undergraduate Commencement Speaker: The Student Life Committee is requesting faculty nominations for students who would be inspiring commencement speakers. Please recommend students who are scheduled to graduate in May 2018 and who would do an excellent job sharing their story in a 2-minute speech at Commencement. The Committee will email your nominees to let them know they have been nominated, and encourage them to submit a speech no later than midnight onSun., Feb. 25.  If you have any questions or would like to recommend a student, please email Penny L.   • Graduate Commencement Speaker: All Graduate students are eligible to compete for the position of Graduate Commencement Speaker. Speech guidelines can be found on the Commencement website at this link.  Please encourage your students to email their speech submissions to Mel Spence at mspence@callutheran.edu or Gail Uellendahl at uellenda@callutheran.edu by Wed., Mar. 7. Judges selected from various graduate programs will independently and anonymously review written submissions and select finalists to move forward for video auditions.
     
  • New Accommodate Software: Academic Services and DSS is pleased to announce the implementation of new software, Accommodate, to support the providing of services for students with disabilities. Accommodate will provide you the following information:
    • Information regarding students that have activated services in your courses.
    • Information regarding any notetake accommodations that may occur in your courses.
    • Information regarding testing accommodations.
    • In order to access Accommodate:
      • Log into the MyCLU portal
      • Click on the "Accommodate-Faculty" link in the Tools section
      • Click on the Course tab in Accommodate.
      • Select one of your courses.
      • Click on the Enrolled Students tab.

  • Traditional Undergraduate (TUG) student registration for Fall 18 will begin onThurs., Mar. 15.  The Fall 18 semester schedule is available on WebAdvisor and Student Planning. Registration appointment times will run from 5:00pm to 8:30pmeach evening.  The schedule will be as follows:
    • Seniors (who are not May and Aug Graduates): Thursday 3/15
    • Juniors:  Thursday 3/15 to Monday 3/19
    • Sophomores:  Monday 3/19 to Wednesday 3/21
    • Freshmen: Wednesday 3/21 to Thursday 3/22
