  • Full-time Faculty - Please complete your Faculty Annual Report as soon as possible, so that we may include this information in the "At the Leading Edge" Faculty Accomplishments publication. The online form can be found on the Academic Affairs Website under Faculty Governance or click here. PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that you put your information in a Word document and cut/paste it into the online form.  While most faculty have been able to submit the form successfully, IT is looking into some instances where the information has not saved. If you have any difficulty submitting, please email your information in a Word document to acaffairs@callutheran.edu.

  • Free Spanish lessons A Spanish for University Professionals class will be offered this summer for university employees and families of current students. With two sessions for introductory and intermediate levels, the interactive, conversation-based courses are for those interested in improving their speaking or listening skills in Spanish. Sponsored by EDUCAL. All classes are held in HUM 119.

    Session 2: Mon.-Thurs., July 5-Aug. 11
    Introductory SPAN 101: 1:45-3 pm.
    Intermediate SPAN 102: 3:15-4:30 pm.

  • Faculty Night at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival, Fri., July 1, Opening night of As You Like It.  Festival grounds open at 5:30pm, show begins at 8pm. Drinks and snacks will be served.   • Cal Lutheran’s Fifty and Better (FAB) Upcoming Summer Lecture Series: Join us throughout the summer for the FABulous Summer Lecture Series! June through August, we are offering independent, 2-hour lectures. Several lectures can be attended in-person, all lectures can be attended virtually! Attend lectures on topics such as the history of genocide, the art of Edouard Manet, Shakespeare in the 21st century, the architectural and interior design of Antoni Gaudi, early explorers and their legacies (Columbus, Cortes, and Pizarro), historical discoveries in molecular biology, the recording career of Harry Belafonte, and more!   • Summer Camps for Elementary and Middle School Students Children of Cal Lutheran employees receive a $50 discount off the registration fee (regularly $225) for California Reading & Literature Project (CRLP) summer camps in July and August: “Read2Write and Study Skills” and “Art of the Masters.” Each session runs Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm on the CLU campus.
