California Lutheran University’s Criminal Justice department is sponsoring a half-day workshop on workplace violence and victimization. The workshop addresses the sources of workplace violence, threat assessment, responses and legal issues. This workshop is offered to human resource managers, supervisors in security and safety, law enforcement, and business managers.

Backpack to Briefcase is a networking event that pairs students with alumni who work in their field of interest. Students will meet in small groups to discuss careers and life after college and will be pre-assigned to alumni on a first-come, first-served basis.

Multimedia students collect intriguing stories on three separate days from three places: the University (CLU24), the city of Thousand Oaks (TO24) and the metropolis of Los Angeles (LA24). Selections of their graphic design, photography and documentary videography will be on display.
Members of the sophomore multimedia class develop their original ideas into engaging stories.
