Linda Olsson, best-selling Swedish author

Linda Olsson, best-selling Swedish author

The Swedish Women’s Educational Association and California Lutheran University invite you to meet best-selling Swedish author Linda Olsson. Born in Stockholm, Olsson has lived in Kenya, Singapore, Great Britain and Japan, and has now settled in Auckland, New Zealand. Her first book, Astrid & Veronika, was a best seller – as is her second novel, Sonata for Miriam. She was also the winner of the Sunday Star-Times Short Story Competition in 2003.

In addition to reading from her books, Olsson will talk about her life, discuss the cultural aspects of living in two cultures, and tell us why she wrote her latest book in English rather than in Swedish, her native tongue.
