"The Roads Most Traveled: Photo Essays About Immigration"

6:30 p.m.  Reception and Refreshments
7 p.m.  Presentation followed by Q&A

Don Bartletti tells the stories of people who might otherwise be invisible to us. A photojournalist with the Los Angeles Times from 1984 to 2015, his series of photo essays about young Central American migrants titled “Enrique’s Journey” won the Pulitzer Prize for feature photography in 2003.

Bartletti was a 2015 Pulitzer Prize finalist for his work documenting the conditions in Mexican labor camps, where much of the produce we eat in the U.S. is actually processed. He remains especially dedicated to the causes and effects of economic migration across the southern border of the U.S. and within nearly every state in Mexico. Documentary subjects have taken him to 23 countries around the globe.

Event is open to the public.
