Described by the press as “one of the finest cellists of his generation,” Yoshika Masuda presents a recital featuring works solely composed for solo cello. The wide-ranging and fascinating program is specifically crafted to reflect the unique sense of identity Masuda has found through exposure to numerous cultures. Born in Japan to a Japanese father and a Cantonese mother, he grew up in Australia and the United Kingdom.
