Middle Eastern Film and TV Summit

Cal Lutheran is proud to host the inaugural Middle Eastern Film and TV Summit. Visiting entertainment industry professionals will discuss the role cinema and television play in the representation of Middle Easterners, the challenges of the community to overcome barriers, and the historical representation of the Middle Eastern mass media. The event will include an audience Q&A.

Mahmoud Salimi, MFA, associate professor in the Film and Television Department, and John Fitch III, PhD, associate professor and chair of the Film and Television Department, will host the event.

The event is free and open to the public, registration is required.
