Manken Family Scholarship
For Teaching Credential students
Scholarships up to $10,000 are available for our full-time Teaching Credential students in the Graduate School of Education. They are made possible through the generosity of the Manken Family.
Dr. John R. Manken dedicated 40 years of distinguished service to elementary education, first in the classroom and then as a school principal. Following Dr. Manken’s death in 2012, Cal Lutheran received the largest scholarship bequest in its history. The Manken Family Scholarship is designated for credential students who have completed their foundations courses.
You must enroll full time in the Preliminary Teaching Credential, Education Specialist Credential, or Education Specialist Credential (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) program at Cal Lutheran to be eligible for the Manken Family Scholarship.
