Certified Forecaster Program

Designated as a Certified Forecaster Program by The International Institute of Forecasters (IIF). The IIF is the leading society in academic research in forecasting. Their International Forecasting Symposium (ISF) is held on every continent and is the premier forecast research symposium in the world. Program faculty attend the ISF on a regular basis and bring those insights into the program’s curriculum.

Ranked #6 in the nation in Financial Economics by the TFE times (2026)

Program faculty are involved in CLU’s forecast center CERF who are nationally ranked in Forecast accuracy. CERF earned forecast accuracy awards in: 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. CERF competes against 75 forecast centers across the U.S., including the largest of such operations, such as Moody’s Analytics and IHS Market.
