Cal Lutheran’s School of Management is a community of students, mentors, investors,
and business leaders who come together and collaborate to solve problems, drive change,
and support each other. Hub101 programs helps early-stage startups build sustainable
businesses and was voted #4 among L.A. incubators in 2025 by the Los Angeles Business Journal for having one of the highest numbers of graduated companies. The programs are open
to all and provide entrepreneurs with perspective, guidance, and valuable connections.

Faculty-led Student Experience
Students will work in small teams to create a business around a surprising constraint.
They’ll identify a target customer and their needs, develop a value proposition, consider
how their business could generate revenue, and think through potential challenges.
Students will then have 90 seconds to share their business idea with the group. This
fast-paced, hands-on activity will give students a glimpse into how business students
approach real-world problems, make strategic decisions and turn creative ideas into
action.
