Ash Wednesday

The day is marked with an ashen cross, the symbol that we are mortal and to dust we will return. The day is also marked with a blessing that through God’s abundance we are made right with God.

Ash Wednesday commemoration will take place on the main campus of Cal Lutheran with the imposition of ashes during the following times:

8 a.m. —  Starbucks/Jack’s Corner

10 a.m. — Flagpoles

Noon —  A brief worship service in Samuelson Chapel

4 p.m. — Starbucks/Jack’s Corner

7 – p.m. — Samuelson Chapel
