You Got the Grant! Now What?

This workshop is designed to help nonprofits and social service organization successfully navigate life after receiving a grant.  Through real-world examples, case studies and direct feedback from the funder community, we will explore best practices for understanding and stewarding grant relationships.  And, we will give you practical guidance on how to manage and report on your grants, so you are set up to get the next ones!

  • Key topics we will explore during the workshop include:
  • Understanding the goals and expectations of grant-makers
  • Managing the grant execution process and troubleshooting common challenges
  • Tips for engaging the funder during the life of the grant
  • Reporting on the grant
  • Setting yourself up for the next grant

Level: Intro/Intermediate

Target audience: This workshop is for anyone with a role in grant proposal development, execution and/or reporting.  

This workshop is facilitated by Tina Knight, an experienced senior manager in foundation, nonprofit, higher education and government environments. She specializes in grantmaking expertise such as competitive grants, scholarships, donor-advised fund grants, agency endowment payout management and sub-award management.

The event is from 9:30 a.m. to Noon.

There is no fee for members, $55 fee for non-members.
