Fall 2021 Session: September 8-October 22
Registration for Fall is closed.
In addition to our virtual format, we are excited to offer an in-person course during our Fall Session! We are piloting a HyFlex class format that will allow our in-person and virtual students to attend the same class simultaneously (see below for details).
Our FAB students’ safety is important to us and therefore, we are taking precautions to make the in-person class a safe and welcoming environment. In this environment, students will be able to enjoy face-to-face interactions with your faculty and classmates, and if you choose, you can grab coffee or a bite to eat after class. We want to make Cal Lutheran your new physical home for learning. For those not able to join us in person, we continue to be your virtual home for learning!
Virtual courses are $35 each
In-person course is $50 - Registration for the in-person course is now closed
- FREE parking at the main campus
- Large classroom with ample space meeting Cal/OSHA guidelines
- Proof of COVID vaccination is required for in-person attendance. Click here for more details and to submit proof of vaccination.
- We will continue to follow guidance from our county and state, as well as our own campus protocols. Currently, regardless of vaccination status, masks are required in indoor settings.
Can’t get to campus for an in-person course? No problem! Attend the course virtually instead (virtual offering is $35).
Using the HyFlex learning model, in-person and virtual students can attend class simultaneously. A special “360-camera” will follow the instructor in the classroom, and students attending virtually will be able to see and hear the instructor and view the PowerPoint over Zoom (similar to our traditional virtual courses).
In-person and virtual courses meet for 2 hours once per week for six weeks. Students attending courses virtually communicate with faculty during class meetings via the chat function in Zoom. All classes are recorded and available for students to watch the next day.
We look forward to continued learning with those near and far! Keep reading to learn more about our fall courses.
