Graduate with experience.
Students in the communication and marketing communication programs at Cal Lutheran find opportunities for experiential learning both in and out of the classroom.
We offer Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) degrees in marketing communication and communication, with optional emphases in advertising/public relations, film and television production, or journalism.
Students can gain hands-on experience working for the campus newspaper, The Echo, for the campus-wide cable television station operating out of our on-campus TV studio, or for our streaming radio station, iCLU.
Communication education also takes students out of the classroom and into the workplace, with the requirement that they complete at least one industry internship or produce a special independent project.
My biggest advice to current or prospective students is to do as many internships as you can -- don't just do one, and don't wait until your senior year.Kristi (Wolzmuth '06) Staley

Have fun! That is what life is all about... especially when you're working. If you don't like the job, why are you doing it? You don't have to!Evan White '06
