Our Counseling Psychology and PsyD students graduate ready to help patients improve relationships, increase life satisfaction, and live more fulfilling lives. Our Clinical Psychology graduates are prepared to evaluate the efficacy of clinical activities for both private and public organizations and agencies.
Our faculty are dedicated to continuously improving the quality of their work and the School as a whole. They work closely with our students, holding them to high standards and motivating them to excel. Our clinical supervisors are carefully chosen to provide the highest quality of mentoring.
We operate two training clinics located in Oxnard and Westlake Village, staffed by our second-year PsyD and M.S. in Counseling (MFT) students. Here, we offer extensive counseling services at low fees to underserved communities, with more than 15,000 appointments scheduled every year.
Community Counseling Centers
Cal Lutheran's Community Counseling Centers offer quality counseling services to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children while providing training for our students who do not need to worry about arranging outside practicum hours.
We serve an average of 450 individuals and families each week.
