Meet the New Council Members
It is a great pleasure for us to welcome new members Marina Lubinsky and Don Armstrong to the Dean's Executive Council.
Marina Lubinsky is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Cheesecake Factory. Prior to her role at The Cheesecake Factory, she was SVP and CIO at Oakwood Worldwide as well as an information technology consultant. Her background includes IT leadership positions with AIG, Disney and Accenture. Lubinsky holds a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen. She is a member of the CIO Executive Council and the National Association of Professional Women.
Don Armstrong is the CEO and co-founder of Motor Vehicle Software Corporation (MVSC), a high-growth software company with a focus on e-Government solutions. An industry innovator, Armstrong has a long history of designing and implementing software solutions that successfully address the unique challenges of government. He was behind the development of Michigan’s online vehicle and watercraft registration renewal system, which was the first of its kind in the nation. In addition, he also has been responsible for many other technological advancements currently in use by federal, state and local agencies throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to co-founding MVSC, Armstrong served as Chief Architect at NICUSA, Inc. Best of all, Don also is a Cal Lutheran alumnus!
