Spotlight

 

  • Honors Convocation, Tues., Apr. 30, 11:15am, Samuelson Chapel.  We will be on Convocation Schedule with classes ending at 11:00am and resuming at 12:40pm. Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient, Dr. Tracy M. Downs '88, will give the keynote address (click here to view bio), faculty receiving promotion and/or tenure in Fall 2019 will be recognized, and the President's Award for Teaching Excellence recipient will be announced. Please note: In order to highlight the importance of our faculty at this prestigious academic event, regalia will be worn and faculty will meet at Gumby at 11:00am to process.

  • Grant writing workshops : The Office of Sponsored Research and Projects is presenting a grant writing series for faculty and staff. The next workshop titled "Cha-Ching!   • Wind Ensemble Concert, Tues., Apr. 23, 7:30pm, Samuelson Chapel. Donations accepted.
     
  • DSS has notified students that the Accommodate Testing Module will be fully launching on Wed, Apr. 24. Students will now only be able to submit testing requests within Accommodate. Click here for FAQ’s regarding the new Testing Request procedures and an instructional document and video to help navigate through Accommodate. She has been involved with the FYE seminar since 2009 and is passionate about supporting and mentoring students during their transition to college and throughout this significant life stage.
