Although she received her B.A. in Communication Studies and M.A. in Mass Communication from Cal State Northridge, Shibumi finds herself very at home in the Cal Lutheran community. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, cooking, spending time with friends, and attending stand-up comedy shows.

Sherri enthusiastically combines her experience with 2D and 3D design approaches to create thoughtful and cohesive graphic solutions that define Cal Lutheran’s sense of place and space through print, digital, environmentals, video and photography. Her extensive 20 year background as a designer, art director and manager affords her a unique perspective in managing her creative team. When not observing and contemplating how the human psyche affects design decisions, Sherri relaxes by baking and exploring California’s central coast with her family.

Her daily ritual begins before dawn when she goes to fitness boot camp to help keep her level-headed with a positive and enthusiastic demeanor throughout the day.

A double alumna of Cal Lutheran with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and an MBA, she brings a strategic, analytical mindset to her work. Outside of her professional life, she is passionate about sustainability and conservation. She can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her dogs, losing herself in a good book, or recharging through intentional movement.

Christine’s primary focus is to support enrollment marketing initiatives while managing undergraduate and enrollment-related data and marketing campaigns. Christine has always been a data analyst and before she joined California Lutheran University, she worked at both Move, Inc., and Amgen. While she isn't working with data, Christine enjoys camping trips and old school board games with her husband and son, and the family’s favorite place to visit is Kauai, Hawaii for snorkeling, zip lining, and kayaking.

Giana is an experienced Social Media Marketing Manager and Film Director with a demonstrated history of working in the motion picture and film industry. She is a Cal Lutheran double alum who received a BA in Film and Television Production with a minor in Multimedia and a Master’s in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Strategic Media, and in her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, spending time with family, and going to Disneyland.
