Ahmanson Veterans Day Event

Please join the Ahmanson Veterans Resource Office in celebrating Veterans Day inside the Ulman’s Commons Conference Center on November 11, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm.

Our keynote speaker will be George Sarpong. George was born and raised in Accra, Ghana, and came to the United States in 2008 for a better life. Shortly after, in 2009, he joined the Navy and served selflessly as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. His selfless service provided medical and dental care to civilians in war-stricken, impoverished communities and service members from various branches providing humanitarian aid and assistance globally. After a decade of service to his country, George is now the CEO of two companies, Afena Technologies, and Lucas Homes LLC. He attributes his success during and after his military service to his leadership and training in the world’s finest Navy. 

We hope you can join us in this celebration as we pay tribute to the men and women who have served selflessly so we can continue enjoying our freedoms.
