Please complete your mandatory SEVIS registration after you arrive in the U.S. and prior the first day of orientation. Gather all travel documents in advance: Cal Lutheran I-20, Passsport (biographical page), F-1 visa, I-94 and upload them on the OISS Student portal.
The schedule below is for International Student Orientation only, keep in mind that undergraduate students need to attend the Cal Lutheran new student orientation program and graduate students need to refer to their academic program for details about their orientation.
Fall 2023 International Student Orientation
Shopping Trip @ Target | 3pm-6pm | CGE Patio
*Optional activity* but RSVP required here before 08/18/23.
Meeting on CGE patio by 2:50pm to take a shuttle to Target (Moorpark) and allow students to purchase groceries, small items for their dorm etc. The shuttle is departing at 3pm and returning at CGE by 6pm.
Target Gift Cards will be raffled among attendees who have sent their RSVP! Limited spots available, RSVP does not guarantee a seat if shuttle capacity has already been reached.
International Student Orientation | 9am-2pm | Ahmanson Science Building
It is MANDATORY for all new F1 / J1 students to attend. Coffe and cookies will be served, along with lunch.

CGE Open Doors | 3pm-6pm | CGE
*Optional* - Walk ins welcome for anyone who requires assistance.
Designated School Officers (DSO) will be available for walk-ins to answer any questions about the international student orientation, provide assistance with SEVIS registration, letter requests etc.

Come meet other new international students, current peer mentors, CGE staff and share your orientation activities feedback in a more relaxed setting.
