Founders Day is held annually to celebrate CLU’s roots in the Lutheran tradition of Christian faith and affirm its commitment to helping students discover and live their purpose. This year’s theme is "Vocation...rooted in community," and the keynote speaker is the Rev. Meghan (Johnston ’01) Aelabouni, co-pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Collins, Colo.

Eight well-known artists were asked to submit drawings capturing the essence of Southern California – the people, places and culture that make this an extraordinary place to live. A reception will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.
