Black Box Theatre
The play is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another. As the houselights dim, a man in a chair puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life as the man in the chair looks on.

24-hour marathon of Shakespeare-related activities
The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s death and the 20th season of its annual festival with a 24-hour marathon of free activities including a sonnet marathon, a candlelight reading of Macbeth and Shakespeare yoga.

The Festival of Scholars showcases scholarly work by undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to traditional research studies, the projects include creative work and the application of theory to real-life situations.
Wind Ensemble
The Cal Lutheran Wind Ensemble presents the first-ever Festival of Scholars Concert. Featuring student research on works performed, the event showcases both creative and scholarly work by student musicians.
Student teams will showcase their startup projects to the Cal Lutheran community and a panel of distinguished judges. Each team will make a 10-minute business pitch and cash prizes will be awarded to the best performing teams. Join us and cast a vote for your favorite team in the people’s choice award.
