FAB Night at Kingsmen Shakespeare: "King Lear"

Join us on Sunday for one of Shakespeare's most recognized tragedies King Lear. The story features an aging pagan king of ancient Briton who divides his kingdom among his two daughters who express their love for him, and banishes the third, who is less flattering to him. His eldest daughters both then reject him. Lear descends into madness as he loses his throne, is imprisoned, and dies brokenhearted.

The show is open to all FAB students and their friends and family. Discounted tickets to each show are $18 each, free for those 17 and younger.

Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. to socialize with your classmates, enjoy light snacks provided by FAB and enjoy the pre-show entertainment at 7 p.m. You are welcome to bring your own meals and picnic in the park. High-back seating will be provided.

Parking is free for everyone, carpooling is encouraged.

The Fifty and Better (FAB) program was designed for people 50 and older seeking intellectual stimulation through university level courses (without the pressure of grades) for the sake of learning and social engagement.
