Founders Day Concert

The University Symphony will perform an all-Beethoven concert including The Choral Fantasy featuring the CLU Choir. Also featured will be the Prometheus Overture and the Triple Concerto with soloists Melissa Phelps, violin, Joyce Geeting, cello, and Eric Kinsley, piano. Daniel Geeting conducts.

In a special ceremony, CLU music professor emeritus Elmer Ramsey, founder and music director of the Conejo Symphony, will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters in recognition of his 28 years of service to the University and lifelong devotion to the arts in Southern California.
