Dia de los Muertos
As part of CLU’s observance of the “Day of the Dead,” a traditional El Dia de los Muertos altar will be erected in the Student Union Building beginning at 10 a.m. Traditional pan de muerto (bread) will be available to sample along with pictures and information detailing the history and traditions of this Latin holiday. Everyone is welcome to bring items to place on the altar in honor of their deceased loved ones. A program coordinated by the Latin American Student Organization will begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is free. Parking is available in the Pederson Administration Building parking lot at the corner of Olsen Road and Mountclef Boulevard and in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center parking lot north of Olsen Road. Street parking on campus is by permit only Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
