In this award-winning romantic comic fantasy, a young woman looking for love, Amélie (Audrey Tautou), works in a Montmartre café. She has experienced an unusual and unique childhood. Misdiagnosed with a rare heart condition as a kid, she develops an incredible imagination while spending time alone in her room. Even though her mother dies when Amélie is 8 years old and her father exudes coldness, Amélie ultimately flourishes into a charming, healthy, beautiful young woman who strives to positively impact the lives of people she knows.

Admission is free. This film has an MPAA rating of R due to sexual content. French with English subtitles. Muvico Thousand Oaks 14 is located at 166 W. Hillcrest Drive. Please arrive 30 minutes before the screening time to secure a seat.
