Alternative Communication Social
Description: Join us for fun games and activities for individuals who use letter boards and keyboards to communicate! Students and communication partners can practice their communication skills in a supportive environment. All socials are facilitated by Amanda Johnson. Amanda has a master's degree, 15 years of experience supporting students with autism, and more than three years of experience with students who use letter boards, tablets, and other forms of augmentative and alternative communication.
Location: SBET 140
Time: 1-2 p.m. for beginner to intermediate communicators. 2:15–3:15 p.m. for intermediate to open-ended communicators.
Registration cost: $15 per one-hour session
What to bring: A communication partner and your communication tools (letter board, tablet, keyboard, choice boards, etc.).
