'The Honey Bus: A Memoir of Loss, Courage and a Girl Saved by Bees' by Meredith May

Thousand Oaks Reads: One City, One Book – Cal Lutheran Faculty Panel Discussion

The extraordinary story of how bees become a guiding force in author Meredith May’s life, teaching her about family and community, loyalty and survival, and the relationship between mother and child, is the subject of this conversation with scholars.

Admission is free. Copies of the book are available at both Thousand Oaks library branches; come hear the discussion whether you’ve begun reading or not. Thousand Oaks Reads is a citywide literary event and series of activities encouraging community members to read and discuss the same book.
