Lear

Adapted from William Shakespeare’s ‘King Lear’; directed by Michael J. Arndt

Lear

Lear is an online episodic performance providing a fresh new take on William Shakespeare's classic tragedy King Lear.

Queen Lear is dividing up her realm between her three daughters. After one daughter is banished for refusing to tell Queen Lear how much she loves her, and two scheming, manipulative daughters start taking away all of the queen's power, the story follows Queen Lear and her descent into madness. This gender-bent, updated Shakespeare show has suspense, tragedy, romance, betrayal and one more twist: It's set in space!
