Introduction to Project Management for Nonprofit Organizations

How does your organization engage in effective project management? Learn the foundational skills of planning, managing and executing projects on time and on budget at your nonprofit. This three-hour course will introduce important concepts and tools of modern project management while also illustrating the different phases of a project. Participants will learn about project phases and the related activities associated including planning, scheduling and executing. The course also will feature a simulation for you to practice solving common project management needs. Organizations are encouraged to reflect and contribute their own learnings and experiences managing project teams.
