Catherine L. Kort has enjoyed 20+ years of success facilitating positive change in for-profit, non-profit and higher education settings as a fundraising, public relations, and marketing and communications professional. She has managed a top public affairs and political consulting firm in Los Angeles and represented the diverse interests of 80,000 alumni at a reputable private university.  Currently, Catherine directs fundraising and marketing efforts for Interface Children & Family Services. Interface is Ventura County’s most comprehensive non-profit social services agency offering 24 distinct programs in seven locations that aim to prevent and heal the effects of child abuse, neglect and abandonment; provide 24-hour response and shelter for victims of domestic violence and prevention-based programs in more than 100 schools; address family conflict and mental health issues; and administer justice involved intervention and prevention services.

Catherine is a results-oriented professional and certified trainer and executive coach for DSWA Coach Excellence School. Coach Excellence School is based on a world-renowned principle-centered coaching system utilizing proven techniques that accelerate learning and transport individuals and organizations to new levels of success. In addition to her fundraising role, Catherine represents the interests of non-profit professionals throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
