Inaugural Class of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program
The beginning of the 2018-19 academic year marks the start of our new undergraduate major inHospitality and Tourism Management. Over the past two years, this program has been developed with the help of experienced academics in the field and a panel of close to 50 industry advisors. This panel represents both smaller and local brands, as well as multinational brands from many sectors within the hospitality industry, ranging from lodging to restaurants to cruise lines and more. The photo shows Stefan Cosentino, our new program director, with the first group of hospitality students in our introductory course on August 31, 2018. This new major will be featured in videos produced by the Ventura County Lodging Association, designed to spotlight exciting careers in hospitality.
