Read Morethe Business of Sports club is an extensive calendar year program that is designed for students to gain valuable insight to exploring a variety of career options within the sports industry (e.g., management, events, hospitality, sales, and marketing). As such, students are led on a three-tier journey through various filed outings that help students build networks (informational interviews with industry executives), discover and market their personal and professional brand (finding purpose, building resumes and cover letters, and market through professional platforms), as well as have unique opportunities to intern/volunteer with local, regional, and statewide sport properties. Each month students are exposed to either meeting, shadowing, and/or intern/volunteering with multiple sport organizations. Partnerships include, but are not limited to: - Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission - NASCAR - Oakland Athletics - Santa Barbara Foresters - Sacramento Kings - San Diego Padres - Sacramento Republic FC In addition, many field outings have allowed students to extend their experience into long term internships, which eventually has launched newer opportunities for professional growth in several sectors of the sports industry. the program concludes with students being able to reflect on their experiences by conducting a self-assessment evaluation. Please note that this is a student-led club program. We are currently interviewing for new members for the 2022/2023 academic year. We promote conservative ideals in accordance with the GOP, but are inclusive to all who are interested in discussing Republican politics. The purpose of this club is to bring like-minded students together and go out on field trips. This is so everyone can gain field knowledge and skills while being led by the Cal Lutheran staff. This club is not exclusive to STEM majors and often the field trips will be like guided tours. We encourage participants with a heavy schedule to watch our mini documentary series of the trips if unable to participate in person. It is also to create connections and networks within the environmental science community and support one another in research or outside projects.

Secondly, the Lord of Life student congregational council creates and directs the activities of the Lord of Life faith community. The Lord of Life faith community is centered in the love and grace of Jesus Christ, prompting actions of welcome. This community of faith recognizes our unity in Jesus Christ, Baptism as a sign of God's covenant with God's people, Holy Communion as the meal that provides forgiveness and hope, God's word as the anchor of our daily living, and a desire to witness, learn, and serve the whole of the CLU community.

Our mission is to gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations. We accomplish this by assuming the roles of real UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets. Through cooperation and extensive collaboration students will debate issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to these global issues. Our goal is to provide a community for students to hone their speaking and research skills while practicing real world problem solving. We strive to foster a constructive forum for open dialogue on complex global issues. Through their involvement, members will learn the importance of balancing national interests with the needs of the international community, while also learning about the powers and limitations of international negotiation.

Sisters’ Circle was initially founded as a support group for only Black women but we now seek to expand our borders to other groups of color and those from different walks of life. While our content will still heavily cater to Black women/culture we hope to create the atmosphere to share in our cultures and highlight the fact that a lot of differences are not as big as we think. The Table Tennis Club brings students together in a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment through the sport of table tennis. We hold weekly practice sessions where students can learn the rules and how to play table tennis, conduct scrimmage matches, and simply interact with one another.
