The Recharge Series
Various locations
The Recharge Series is a thoughtfully curated week of programs designed to support student well-being, build community, and provide intentional opportunities to relax and reset during a busy point in the semester. Spanning five days, the series blends fun, culturally engaging, and wellness-focused activities to meet students where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally.
The week kicks off with a lighthearted “May the Fourth Be With Brew” event featuring themed coffee and donuts, creating an inviting space for students to start their week with connection and energy.
Students can then unwind with therapy dogs, offering comfort and stress relief alongside simple, low-pressure activities like snacks and coloring.
Midweek, the series incorporates both celebration and mindfulness. A Cinco de Mayo event brings students together for a festive paint-and-sip experience, while a sound bowl meditation session at Kingsmen Park offers a deeper opportunity for reflection, grounding, and relaxation in a peaceful outdoor setting.
As the week continues, Bleat the Stress provides a more interactive wellness experience with boba, food, and goat yoga—encouraging movement, social connection, and play.
The series concludes with the “Buh Bye Bash”, a poolside celebration designed to help students decompress, celebrate the end of the term, and connect with peers in a fun, relaxed environment.
Overall, the Recharge Series creates a balanced mix of stress relief, community engagement, cultural celebration, and holistic wellness, helping students recharge mentally, emotionally, and socially as they approach the end of the academic year.
