Department Assistantships
This competitive position is reserved for a select few outstanding English majors. Departmental Assistants are available to aid professors with research, assist with class preparation, and manage the department website. DAs create and distribute the Carpe Diem, help run the Literary Society and Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society), and are available to students for any additional assistance they may need for their English classes such as thesis development, essay composition, MLA style citations, grammar, and proof reading.
