California Lutheran University strives to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Any guest attending commencement requiring accommodations for a disability needs to submit a request for special arrangements to DSS. A Request to obtain Accessibility Seating Area tickets, and/or to discuss special arrangements, should be submitted at least one (1) month prior to the ceremony.
One guest may sit with the individual needing special accommodations in this Accessibility Seating area.
Each guest must have a ticket, and tickets must be presented at the Accessibility Seating area gate on the day of commencement. Children two years old and younger do not need a ticket if they sit on the lap of an adult.
Once a request for accessibility seating tickets has been processed, the e-tickets will be assigned within the graduating student’s ticket portal. The graduating student will also be sent an email with the tickets attached.
Beginning March 4, 2019, online requests for Accessibility Seating Area tickets will be accepted. A link will be posted on this webpage to request Accessibility Seating Area tickets.
If a graduating student needs accommodations for commencement, he or she must contact us personally. The student should fill out the request form listed previously.
