CLU Cross Hike

Mt. Clef Ridge: CLU Rocks and Cross

A short peaceful hike up the Mt. Clef Ridge that gifts you with a breathtaking view of Santa Rosa Valley, Cal Lutheran, and Thousand Oaks. Begin your hike at the Woken Walk, located on north campus between the softball and baseball fields.

Wildwood

Distance from campus: 2.1 Miles

With two waterfalls, scenic volcanic outcroppings, miles of shared-use for all levels of trail users, several pleasant picnic areas, and abundant open space, Wildwood Park is a great place to explore and unwind. There are three water fountains in the park; however, hikers are encouraged to bring water. Solstice Canyon

Solstice Canyon offers an easy no-fuss walk alongside a flowing creek in a wide canyon. The big attraction on this 2.6-mile round trip hike is a small waterfall next to the burned ruins of the Malibu Mansion. Solstice Canyon provides a warm introduction to the many hikes nestled within the Santa Monica Mountains.

If you're looking for a high-intensity mission, well you've found it! This hike is crazy awesome if you're looking to feel that bittersweet burning sensation in your calves. Begin your hike at the Sycamore Canyon Campground within Point Mugu State Park. From the campground trailhead, several paths crisscross through the coastal mountains; the most adventurous of these is the trail up to Mugu Peak

Los Robles

Los Robles Trail System

Level: Easy to Strenuous

Location: 351 S Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361

Distance from campus: 2.8 Miles

The Los Robles Trail and Open Space system provides 25 miles of ridgeline trail with plenty of neighborhood feeder trails across the southern portion of the Conejo Open Space.
