Writing Center Research & Pedagogy

Writing Center consultants present their writing and research annually at the SoCal Writing Centers Association Conference and Cal Lutheran’s Festival of Scholars. Their research re-examines pedagogical theories and consulting practices through the lens of their own Writing Center experiences; their presentations offer a behind-the-scenes look at how consultants support fellow students in becoming stronger, more confident writers; and their findings shed light on how Writing Center pedagogies and strategies can make that support meaningful and effective.
