Charitable Giving in Ventura County
Over 75 people attended the March Nonprofit Leadership Council meeting and heard a sneak peek of the Ventura County Civic Alliance 2017 State of the Region Report's indicators about the nonprofit sector in Ventura County. The event highlighted current trends in philanthropic giving, including the reality that per capital revenue continues to be lower as compared to neighboring counties. Our work is cut out for us! We must dive deeper into what the data means for our sector and how we, collectively, can advance philanthropy in our community.
A special thank you to David Maron, State of the Region committee chair and the fantastic panel of local nonprofit, civic and philanthropic leaders that shared thoughts and insights from their unique points of view.
