 ART OF THE MASTERS 

The Art of Masters creative camp is sponsored by California Reading & Literature Project at California Lutheran University.  Both sessions are designed for students entering grades 4-6.

Students will:

• Explore the lives and artistic techniques of great art masters such as...

 Claude Monet (Impressionism)                                                                                            Pablo Picasso (Cubism & Surrealism)                                                                                Georgia O'Keeffe (Modernism)

• Create 4 original pieces of art in the style of each master

• Explore the masters' techniques using the art mediums of chalk pastel, oil pastel, and watercolors

• Create an art portfolio containing their unique pieces of art to bring home on the last day of camp.

 DIVE INTO CREATIVE writing

Dive Into Creative Wrting Summer Camp is sponsored by California Reading & Literature Project at California Lutheran University.  This writing camp is designed for students entering grades 4-6.

Students will:

• Have fun learning about the ocean and its marine life

• Sharpen their reading and writing skills

• Use art, creative writing, and bookmaking to demonstrate their learning
