MBA Alumnus Startup, Guardmine
MBA in Austria alumnus Ries Bouwman recently launched a Kickstarter Campaign for his next startup, Guardmine. The core product of Guardmine is a unique smart and portable security solution, that protects personal property such as phones, keys, documents, or money. After only a few days, the crowdfunding campaign is already close to its fundraising goal and has a good chance to succeed. Ries, who holds an MBA from Cal Lutheran, an MS in Physics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and a doctorate in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversitaet Leoben (Austria), previously founded Omi's from which he exited in 2018.
